Since around 2019, MAREX has built AI into its inspection workflow. The model spent two to three years learning the trade: standards, materials, procedures and report structure. It was then fine-tuned on real MAREX cases.

With 12 full-time inspectors on site, entering, analysing and compiling all daily reports plus next-day planning took 4 to 5 hours with our AI workflow, compared with 40 to 50 hours previously: about ten times faster.
