Works acceptance for aquariums and pools
An independent check before handover, so that defects are recorded while the contractor is still on site.
Before an aquarium, a pool or a submerged structure is handed over, the owner needs a clear view of what was built and what remains to be corrected. MAREX engineers and diver inspectors check the installation against the specifications and drawings, witness the tests and record each reservation with photos and its location.
We act as an independent expert: we only carry out repairs with the agreement of all parties, with no conflict of interest.

Document and specification review
Drawings, method statements, material certificates and test reports checked against the specifications.
Acrylic panels and seals
Installation geometry, bonding lines, silicone joints and protection of the panels before filling.
Leak and hydrostatic tests
Assistance with and witnessing of hydrostatic leak tests, leak tracing and waterproofing checks.
Reservations and close-out
A located, photographed list of reservations, then a follow-up inspection of the corrections before final acceptance.
How we work
Works acceptance can take place in the dry before filling, underwater after filling, or both. It can be repeated before the end of the warranty period.
